Every child is unique and a gift of God. Yancha is designed for children who do not need special assistance. The purpose of Yancha is to enable children achieve their potential, in the world full of noise and confusion. Children with special needs are best attended to by loving parents and care providers specifically trained for the purpose.
Yancha is designed to help parents raise their children to achieve their potential. In the process the child may show progress in areas beyond direct Yancha intervention. Yancha is an approach through which couples blessed with children evolve into caring parents; who in turn demonstrate better understanding of their child.
Yancha cannot be compared to a tuition class, where the direct focus is on grades. Yancha focuses on the behavior development of the child who is an independent entity from the parents.
We envision a Yancha child to be naughty, curious, disciplined and focused child. All of this is oriented towards achieving the potential. We envision Yancha families to be understanding and caring and develop each-others ability to achieve potential.
The intervention is designed for parents who in turn will develop the child. The four broad focus areas for developing a child over 26 structured sessions are: Positive Discipline, Confidence Building, Decision Making, Values and Compassion
Yancha aims to have centers close to the homes. If we have a center where you are shifting to, you will be able to change your center. If not, you can always go through the entire Yancha program through the Internet
Anyone who is responsible to bring up the child, can do this training. It can be a Guardian, nominated by parents. However, bringing up a child is a very involved process and we recommend that there should be no conflicting instructions being provided to the child while the development process is on. All who have a say in the development of the child should be a part of the Yancha program at your home.
Wait a few months more, Yancha Teens is going to be launched soon. Guiding teen age children is different than guiding kids. Provide us your name and details and we will get back soon with information on Yancha Teens.
Yes you can. After the allocated period of 1 year, should you want to continue Yancha sessions and coming to the center to discuss, you can join the continuing Yancha programs.
If being done well as per Yancha G guidance at your home, you should see behaviors changing by the end of two months and results by the end of three months. However, parents need to learn a lot also and evolve themselves.
